Strategy facilitation: Aldeburgh Music

Our approach

In 2014 Aldeburgh Music asked us if we could help them develop a new artwork to fulfil a commission from digital curator The Space. We worked with creative developers AVCO to think through the user experience of a new multi-video application. The app was designed to deliver a new way to engage with their recent production of Musicircus, John Cage’s spectacular multi-layered music experience. Through this process we built a great relationship with the Aldeburgh team, which led them to ask us to support and structure the digital strategy review they were about to embark on.

We really enjoy working with arts organisations at these crucial moments in their development. The Aldeburgh team were extremely welcoming and enthusiastic as we led them through a sequence of workshops that helped update and focus their digital aims and give shape to a new website brief. We have worked closely with Matt Jolly, their Head of Digital and Shoel Staden, their Director of Communications.
