Clore Leadership
For twenty years, Clore Leadership has provided a fellowship programme, the first of its kind in the UK, designed to develop and strengthen leadership across the cultural and creative industries. The programme has helped to inspire and equip several generations of leaders to have a positive impact on society through great leadership of culture.
Digital strategy
In 2019, Clore asked Unthinkable to develop a digital strategy for the organisation, one that would look both from the inside out and from the outside in. Our work would assess the state of digital infrastructure, and of the skills and working processes of the team, and also highlight opportunities for Clore to use digital technology to increase the scale and reach of its work. In effect, this amounted to a strategy for digital transformation.
Through a combination of both internal and external interviews, a survey, workshops and desk resarch, we identified three main areas of opportunity: the learning offer, the alumni network and digital operations. For each of these, we presented a vision statement, supporting evidence and a set of recommendations that were highly practical and specific about the phases of work required, platforms and tools, and costed.
An ongoing relationship
Clore has invited us to work with them several times since we delivered the strategy on helping to implement aspects of it, notably in advising on online learning options in the changed environment created by the pandemic, and supporting Clore in creating a brief and helping to select agencies in a tender for the redesign of their website in 2022.
It was a great support to have Unthinkable work with us to unpack, review and rationalise our approach to digital communications. The Unthinkable team used their special blend of experience and expertise to stimulate and challenge for fresh, creative solutions and brought humour and insight into the process. A winning combination for us.
